Target Setting

Target setting is an important part of the teaching and learning process and is part of the performance management process. Tools are available to support this process based on the Value Added models used by OfSTED and RaiseOnline.

Any target setting system should be treated carefully as the numerical process does not take into account any additional information about the child. Value Added models do not use a child's context when calculating the target.

Sample Target Setting Spreadsheet

This spreadsheet shows the outcomes for target setting using the VA model for 2011. Y6 simple targets are created with an additional sublevel shown. The Y3 - Y6 targets are also created.

Note: This spreadsheet is a sample and has been locked. Please contact via mfworks@mail.co.uk to discuss your specific requirements
